City Root Management Ltd manages residential properties across the UK, specialising in second homes and providing practical property oversight, maintenance coordination and ongoing property care.
The company is directed by Lucinda Jane Elizabeth Freeman. The registered office is in Bletchley, Milton Keynes. Services are discussed property by property. This page does not invent a longer company history, a team page or a list of awards, because those have not been stated.
The useful description is simpler: when the owner is not there, the practical responsibilities of the house continue, and someone needs to coordinate them.

Second homes
City Root’s primary focus is the second home: a place the owner cares about and cannot always reach. The work is residential property care, not lettings, sales or holiday-let management.

Remote owners
Owners may be overseas, travelling, relocated for a period, or simply based at another home. The useful thing is a local point of coordination that reports back in plain language.

Scheduled checks
Checks follow an agreed scope. They cover visible condition. They are not a structural survey and they are not a certified inspection of gas, electrics or the building fabric.

Maintenance coordination
When something visible needs a tradesperson, City Root can inform the owner, take approval, and coordinate access. The contractor remains responsible for their own work.

Contractor access
Being away should not mean a journey home solely to unlock a door. Access is arranged only with the owner’s authority.

Property reporting
An update should say what was looked at, what appeared in order, and what needs a decision. Formats vary with the arrangement. There is no claim of a live owner portal.

Seasonal care
Winter, spring, summer and autumn ask different questions of the same house. The care plan can change with them, within the scope that has been agreed.

Responsible service boundaries
Oversight is not guarding, alarm monitoring, CCTV monitoring or a guarantee of security. It does not replace a specialist, and it does not satisfy an insurance condition unless the insurer says so.
